March 3
Registration opens at 8:00 am for day trip. Payment needed to reserve space. Office located at the Annex II Building, 1233 N. Main Street (next to Board of Elections).
March 4
Movie National Treasure at 2:30 pm (Note later time!) Haywood County Library, Waynesville. Downstairs auditorium. Popcorn and drinks provided.
March 11
Bingo 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Haywood County Offices (Former MARC) - Conference Room Snacks and refreshments provided. Space is limited, please register for this activity at 452-6789.
March 18
Out to Lunch Bunch - 11:30 am - Dutch treat lunch. Angelos Family Pizza & Pasta 166 Walnut Street, Waynesville Please call our office at 452-6789 for reservations.
March 25
Day Trip Hot Springs Enjoy the shops featuring local artists and craftsmen, Dutch-treat lunch at local restaurant and a relaxing mineral soak in a modern style hot tub scenically located along Spring Creek.10:00 am - 4:30 pm $20 includes transportation and 1 hour session at Hot Springs Resort & Spa. Trip will depart from the Kmart/Big Lots parking lot (immediate left). Reservations for the day trip are limited and will begin on March 3.
SilverStriders
An active walking group meets weekly to exercise together. Please contact 452-6789 to register. All walks and hikes are weather dependent.
March 5 - 1:00 pm Lake Junaluska-pool parking lot
March 12 - 1:00 pm Haywood Community College-first parking lot on your left.
March 19 - 1:00 pm Waynesville Recreation Center- Vance Street pavilion.
March 26 - 1:00 pm Canton Recreation Park-parking lot next to pavilion.
