Share the Warmth
It is hard to think about persons in our community being cold this winter. Funds were short last year and won't go as far this year. This campaign is a joint project of community agencies and media committed to helping those in need within our midst. Contributions are being placed in a special fund at Mountain Projects, Inc. called Share the Warmth.

Champion Credit Union has developed a special program for residents of Haywood, Buncombe, and Henderson Counties who are age 60 or better. The Senior Rewards program is designed to reward seniors with a number of benefits especially targeted for their needs - such as: special rates on certificate accounts; discount medicines purchasaed at Martin's Drug Store in Canton; free services including shredding of personal documents, copying, faxing, notary services, and check copies.
