Senior Christmas Boxes
Mountain Projects Senior Program annually collects items for senior boxes distributed to the elderly in Haywood County that are full of goodies for those that may not have much of a Christmas. Last year 260 boxes were delivered. The project is made possible through generous donations Please click 'read more' to see how you can make a senior's Christmas special this year.
Tribute to Caregivers
November is National Caregivers Month. "Cindy Miles of Southwestern Commission Area Agency on Aging has put together a beautiful tribute to caregivers.
